Has anyone got any tips on changing a baby when they are moving like mad?
Query by Will 1980: Has any individual got any guidelines on changing a infant when they are moving like mad?
At distinct instances, there is only a single person offered to transform the baby so asking for enable isn’t an option. She wriggles and tries to turn above creating it really tough to clean her effortlessly. If you hold her legs the rest of her body will basically twist over and I’m scared of hurting her at this point.

Distract baby with a toy or pull ups…. Pull ups are great when they are walking and will not lie down

good luck and put on a shirt that you aren’t afraid to get dirty. also try to do it as fast as you can. that seems to make a difference for me. before i start i unfold the diaper put it under her butt before i take the dirty one off, pull the wipes out then put a glob of desitin on the lid of the wipe box. then i go as fast as i can. also i try to distract her by giving her a toy or singing really loud because she thinks it is funny and it seems to slow her down. if she is twisting really bad put a towel between her and whatever you are changing her on and just let her twist if you are afraid that you can’t stop her without hurting her.

My daughter is exactly like this, I usually give her a toy or her socks or make faces at her to distract her, making silly faces usually works!!!

Take your Bubs favourite toy with you when changing the nappy or singing songs, whatever is the best distraction for the Bub – or make a games of it
Stay calm and don’t get frustrated as this seems to fuel Bubs unco-operativeness…. and get it done as quickly as possible!!!

We’ve had success with stickers on my son’s fingers. Just make sure your daughter doesn’t put them in her mouth. Also making funny noises and pulling faces to try to keep their attention on you. Generally we have to keep changing what we do every so often though to keep his attention.

practice and patience, i never used this but some change tables have a strap to hold the baby in place, just hold em down till they stop wiggling or give them what they are trying to get

She won’t do it if it’s going to hurt!
Just get it over with as quickly as possible.

I saw somewhere that a lady took the sticky part of a pack of baby wipes and stuck it to the back of the babies hand, kept the baby occupied for a while! lol
