A friend of mine swears by duct tape. Yes, duct tape! She puts one long piece of tape around the diaper where the tabs are, encompassing her son’s entire body and he cannot do anything to get it off. Put it snugly enough so that it will be impossible for her to slide off, but not so tight that she can’t breathe (well obviously, but you have to disclaimer this kind of stuff these days!)
Good luck, I can imagine what misery that must cause to clean up those messes.

my baby is only 7 months and does this if she doesnt have clothes on. its just one of those things. its funny to do and even funnier if it makes you shout. tell her how good she is when she doesnt do it and praise the positive rather than getting stressed about when she does. as thats just making it more fun to do i think!!!

we use parcel tape lol, but have also used sellotape and ducttape. Anything like that will work.
Good luck, and they do grow out of it eventually

My daughter started doing the same thing around 15 months old. EVERY night she would take her diaper off and it was not pretty in the morning. I as well tried a lot of things, but the only thing that worked was the duct tape. I put a thin strip the whole way around the top of the diaper over the tabs. I did that for about 5 months till she started wearing pull ups to bed and she never, not once got her diaper of with the tape on it. Just make sure its not too tight that when she sits up it cuts into her.
Good Luck! I know how frustrating it is to find a yucky mess in the morning!

Put the nappy on backwards! My friend has 4 kids and she swears this works. Good luck!
