Hi! I have just adopted a baby on the 1st sims for the computer system (sims triple deluxe disk). How long will I have to appear right after it till it turns into a youngster? Plus, do the young children turn into adults?

like three days. If its the original sims then no they don’t grow up any farther than that. Why is this question in this category?

I believe it’s 3 sim days before they turn into a child. And in the Sims 1, no, they never grow up. I used to get my kids sent off to military school on purpose when I got tired of having them in that game. That’s why I enjoy the Sims 2 more, they grow up and move out. It’s much more realistic.

looking after a baby on sims 1 is harder than sims 2 I found. It is about 3 days but your sims will be knackered. Move the crib around the home so it is closer to your sims al the time to save them running around the house using up valuable time
