i would say no too! i am also thirteen and know how hard it would be to have a baby and go to school. i would wait and see if you still want a baby in highschool. and im pretty sure you wont, then again you are right you are old enough to pick, but if i were you i would wait until your over 18 at least!

I think you need to get some help for depression and cutting as well has gain some more years experience with life before you try and bring a child into the world. Plus you’re under the age of consent, the person you choose to have sex with would probably be charged with rape.

Just cause you’re 13 doesn’t mean anything. You should really get some help & see someone before things with yourself, & you & your mother get worse. & having a baby doesn’t make things perfect. Trust me I’m about to be a teen mom& I regret it. I use to cut myself & was threaten of being sent to a mental hospital. You should really get yourself together, before your life gets thrown away.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!! NO NO NO NO NO. You don’t want to have a baby. First of all, it is unhealthy for a mother to be so young nowadays. You won’t be able to support your baby yourself or with the help of the father because it is likely he also goes to school with you. Third, because you cut your self and disrespect your mother, it is easy to say you suffer from low-self esteem and you can fall into depression. You are better than this, get over it. If you get pregnant, the consequences can become devastating. You will have craving, mood swings, and in the middle of it all, you might cut your self and hurt your self very badly as well as the baby. You are just not mature enough for a baby yet. When you graduate from college, you will be smart enough to realize this and know what to do with your life. And then, at that point, even your mother won’t stop you from doing anything because she will believe you are mature enough.
Listen to me and don’t do it please.

I am going to try to be as kind as I can. 13 year olds do NOT make good mothers. You just don’t have enough life experience, or any financial means to take care of a child. I know these things are hard to understand because you are so young. But please PLEASE don’t try too bring a child into this world until you are older. I know you don’t want to hear you are young but think of it this way, a baby needs TOTAL sacrifice and you still have so many things to experience. They may be small things but for example staying up all night with your friends and learning to drive. These things would not happen if you have a baby now. You wouldn’t get to go to parties or even get to go to prom. A baby is a huge sacrifice that needs care 24/7.

Your mum can’t do anything to physically make you not date people and I’m sure that by the time your old enough to actually get married your mum will let you. You may think you want a baby now but you might be underestimating the cost of a baby and the burden they can have on your life. You wont be able to go out with all your friends and do the things normal teenagers do. Also if you are depressed cutting yourself won’t help, you should go to a doctor or a counsellor. If you have no access to these try talking to friends or teachers. Depression doesn’t generally go away by itself. You need to learn to deal with it. Also having a baby might make you more depressed in the long run

Don’t you think you are a little bit to young? You have your whole life ahead of you. If I may ask why do you want a baby so badly? I suggest that you enjoy your childhood while you still can. Do your best in your school work and maybe you can try a sport. One day after you graduated and have a good job you can have a baby. Like they say there is a time and place for everything in life.
