if you have a large cage it shuldnt be a problem but obviously use the steps of introducing them slowly and above them for a few hours befor leaving them alone together.

i had a ten year old budgie and 1 year old cockatiel in seperate cages that were newly introduced one day i just opened both doors and my budgie crawled over to the cockatiel cage and went right in they were best friends for many more years so i don’t think it wouldn’t be a problem, you could try it out. but if you see them fighting a lot i would seperate them and maybe put their cages next to each other and let them get used to each other before trying anything

No, definitely not. You cannot keep budgies with any other type of bird and a cockatiel is significantly bigger than a budgie so it’s just a recipe for disaster. Keep them separate but you could always put one next to the other in a separate cage.

Well it is all a question of ?
A Cockatiel will live with a Budgie, but you must introduce them slowly, you would have to put the budgie in a separate cage close to the Cockatiel till they get used to each other, then when they seem to be friends let the budgie in with the Cockatiel, but beware as soon as there seems to be any aggression on behalf of either separate them.
If it does not work then you will have to keep them apart.
