Dont allow it remain out space temp for extra then an hour….what I use is a lil pouch that the hospital gave me, its a lil thermous form carrier for bottles and has ice packs for it. Just use one of these, keep them out of the sun and they keep nice and cold.

You can get a thermous bottle carrier from some Tesco stores.
They will keep your bottles cold for a minimum of four hours. They carry two bottles at a time.

I would use cold packs and try to keep it cold for about an hour.
Alternatively, you could just carry clean bottles and buy the milk as needed. Most places sell milk (even at the zoo or McDonalds) so you should be ok.

You have some options here. Put a clean scrubbed out thermos, (say one you would use for coffee or soup if you went on a picnic) in the freezer, and when you are ready to go out for the day, pour in enough milk that you need and bring that with you along with your baby’s empty bottle. Then you can pour out enough milk as you need each feeding time. It will stay cold all day. For the first feeding, you might want to make it ready say 10-20 minutes early…so its not toooo cold. And the last bit of milk might not be all that cold, it might just be about room temp, but it definately won’t be spoiled.
Also you can bring the bottles straight from the fridge before you go and put them in foam bottle holders. I have a bottle holder that is made out of styrofoam. It zips closed and has two spots for two bottles. But… the first option will keep the milk cooler for much much longer.
Good luck!

It needs to be kept in the refrig. Not set out at all or bacteria will grow.Take a small cooler with you and keep the bottles in it.Or,if you are going somewhere where they sell milk, even a restaurant-by the glass, could buy it there as you need it.I have actually done this.Bought a glass of 2% and poured into the bottle.
