(Prior to i get a lecture for this this is not my behavior my buddy is distressed and i don’t know what else to do other than to refer her to a medical doctor) She still has the infant but wouldn’t it be damaged? she could always ring nhs direct if she doesn’t want to go to the doctors

base/speed could possibly damage the unborn baby. it speeds up the heart rate (babies already have faster heart beats than us as it is) it could cause the capillaries in the brain to burst leading to brain damage and all sorts, not to mention the developing organs of a bay.

If your friend has just taken this i’d get her to hospital and hope they can give her something to combat the effects.

If she took it a while ago, then, just keep your fingers crossed it hasnt caused any damage.

Maybe your friend should re-evaluate what is important in life and why such drugs are illegal in the first place!

Any “normal” amount of a recreational drug can cause birth defects and/ or miscarriage. So, yes, an “overdose” would increase this risk. But your friend obviously isn’t too concerned about the health of her baby if she is using drugs during pregnancy. She needs to seek help NOW before she causes any more potential harm to the baby.
