My fisher cost jungle music box. It ties to my babys crib and she watches the lights and it plays music and she falls asleep with it. IT’s the very best gift ever. Also you can never have sufficient bibs

My bed (no crib for us), muslin cloths, a sling and my breastfeeding pillow-boppy type thing.
Obviously apart from the obvious things – like my breasts, sleep-suits and nappies.

a box that my mum make up full of nappys nappy bags creams bibs etc.was so handy to have all in one place.apart from that just bottles and vests and baby sleepsuits.a newborn really doesnt need a lot.after that id say a vibrating chair for them to sit in.my son loved his but my daughter prefered the cheap version that didnt vibrate just bounced when she moved

My son was realllly fussy. He had colic, reflux, gas, etc =) So for us we greatly valued things that calmed him and helped him sleep!
- Fisher Price Nature’s Touch Cradle Swing (we swear that’s made by angels =) It was the only place he would let him put him down, and the only way he took naps for his first few months!)
- Amby Baby Bed — it’s a wonderful hammock bed developed by Dr. Sears for colicky/reflux babies. And it completely saved us our first year!
- a boppy for nursing! wonderful invention. Get the kind with the miracle middle, they’re much softer and easier to put into the position you need
- Baby Bjorn carrier (although, any carrier would work) I used this every where I went! And to get things down around then house
- a bouncy seat, or a papasan seat. I had 2, one for upstairs, one for downstairs.
- a kit of baby medicine (tylenol, gas drops, saline drops, gripe water, teething gel) you never know when you’re first going to need any of it, and it’s nice to not have to worry about it

My fisherprice soothing motions glider!!! Was amazing!!! Helped my daughter sleep and stay asleep..gave me somewhere to put her when I needed 2 do things and iot entertained her for hours!!! Lasted upto 6 months when she cud sit up alone and try 2 escape out of it lol! Still in shops inbetween £70 and £80!
Moses basket!!! She slept in that by the side of my bed until she grew out of it…was gr8 cos she its a confiend space instead of an open space (cot) and made her feel more safe and secure!
Gaviscon infant was a life saver because my daughter had colic!!
