about 5-6 months we switched from the baby bath tub to a tub seat…still using the tub seat and shes 11 months.

I never liked the baby bathtub. I found it awkward to hunch over it, and just brought him in the tub with me. It was a nice relaxing thing to do together from early on, and I could just cradle him in my legs. Once he could sit up and do his own thing- splashing, playing and whatnot- at maybe 10 months or so, I could go in, or just supervise from the side of the tub, but he’s 2.5 years and we still bath together.

Both of my boys were about 4 months old when we stopped using a baby bath tub. The bath tub we had was really just designed for newborns so they outgrew it pretty quickly.

I had both a small baby bath and a big baby so she was out of it by 2 months! She loves her big bath now though.

i used the main bath at 6 months old, i bought a seat that goes into your bath, they can be used from6 months but i would say it depends on the size of your baby also my boy was a big boy at 6 months, they are very good seats though best place to get one if you in u.k mothercare or tesco around £20 x

So long has she can sit up on her own she will be fine in the regular bath. Give it a try it can’t hurt.

I stopped using my baby bath for my daughter when she was about 5months old. for the simple fact I found it easier to take her in with me. She is now 9months and either comes in with me or she has a seat for the bath to sit in. If your daughter still fits and enjoys it in baby bath then I dont see the reason to stop using it, although it may be an idea to use the big bath now and again with her to get her used to it as shes not going to fit in baby bath forever. She may find it easier if you start now and use both for a while before just getting rid of it altogether, because my daughter didnt like the big bath at first. Think she found it a bit overwhelming because it was so big, but shes fine with it now shes used to it. good luck

I had a mothercare (teddy wash day) bath i thought it would last him quite a while but when he got to three and a half months (maybe earlier) he didn’t have much room to kick about in so i started to put him in the big bath and he loves it. He is very long. x
