having an attachment for an older child to ride along with the baby in a pram is a wonderful idea, but the products on the market are too bulky, difficult to attach to most prams, and often have the toddler standing between mummy and the pram, making it difficult to see, steer and push. Also i have short arms and i find it hard to reach the pram handles with my toddler infront of me.

I’d like it if i could have my baby in his travel system and my toddler walking, but when my toddler get tired there to be something portable i could attach to the pram for him to rest on/in.
Perhaps something lightweight that slides underneath like a lawn mower grass catcher lol

One thing I always hated was having to carry the heavy infant car seat with a baby in it into the house or grocery store, somewhere that’s a long enough walk for it to get heavy and awkward to carry but not long enough to get the stroller out to put it in. I would love it if there were one that had some pop out wheels or something for walking short distances.
The only problem I say with baby carriers is that the ones that are better for both baby and moms posture (wraps, slings, and mai tai’s) are usually really expensive so most people just go with the cheap carries (snugli’s) which aren’t really good for baby since they are dangle them by their crotch.
With strollers there are so many options almost everyone can find the one thats perfect for them. Sure there are always things that could be improved but I don’t really have any majour complaints about my strollers

I had a stroller frame that our car seat fit into. It worked great, but was big, heavy, and bulky. It took up a ton of room in the trunk, which was a problem since when you first have a baby you have lots of other things to pack for trips, too, like portable crib and infant seat.

I switched it out for a small stroller that I can unfolded one handed. I love that it is light weight and easy for me to move in and out of the car. But, this one has horrible steering though, even on smooth surfaces, making for a jerky ride for baby and making me look drunk as it veers off to the side all the time. And the handles are too low, even for someone like me who is about average height.

We used a baby sling the first couple months. We loved it, but it was hard to adjust the length. My husband is 8 inches taller than me, so we had to leave the strap at a length he could use, so it would be long on me. Something more easy to adjust would be great.

I have trouble getting through doors with my double buggy as it is (I have 2y/o twins) so when I found out I was expecting again. I had the worst trouble finding a triple buggy. I mean, how the hell am I meant to travel anywhere with a triple buggy!!!
I did actually find a buggy that looked like a double, with a car seat in the front. It seemed the most convenient, but at £700 – there was just no way I could afford that. I now just have a double buggy and a separate single buggy. It’s a pain ’cause it means I have to have someone help me wherever I go.

I’m glad I drive and have a car – ’cause the thought of travelling by public transport distresses me! lol
I’ve seen mum’s being told to take their child out and shut down their prams, if they want to get on the bus! How could I possibly do that with 2 toddlers and a newborn baby?

And having 3 car seats in the back of the car is a VERY tight squeeze! It would be handy if they made some kind of ‘slimline’ car seat. Just so the kids have a bit of room for themselves too! ;-)

I have a 15 months old nightmare when it comes to buggy’s, she hates being in them ( I spose since she is floor level with every ones legs and feet which cant be fun) but cant walk and there is no alternative. Ive often got the buggy in one hand and her on my hip in the other because its the only way to stop an out right tantrum. I don’t know what Ill do if I have another baby before she is 3.

I did love her Graco travelling system pram when she was little (and unable to complain) it was a godsend. It come with a car seat which when not in the car became part of the pram. Fantastic for when she fell asleep I could just alternate it from bug to car and back again with out disturbing her. Also it was high waist with me and she could sit there and see people around her notwasn’t practical When she got bigger how ever it wasnt pratical for her to use the car seat part of the pram and because it was to big and heavy to take everwhere as a stroller I opted for a light weight version ( which she hates and I love) I have to admit until I got tcar seatt weight one I let her sit upright in the carseat part of the pram but clipped her in with reins. Because she was at my height and could gabble to me I never had a problem, Id love to find a buggy which is designed like a pram with a seat waist height and as a bonus rotates so that baby can see both ways. Would certainly save alot of achey backs and in my case arms.

Also I had a problem upgrading carseats my baby girl was 16lb and 9months when I started looking for a carseat she isnt a prem baby but was breastfeed which can cause babys to be lighter and thinner so Im told, The problem I had is alot of stores turned me away because car seats are designed for babys 20lb plus and they told me Id have to just stick with the one I had until then. Good advice if your happy to have a backward facing seat and a baby with her legs up around her ears and grumpy cause she cant sit up and look around. In the end I got one off line.considering she is now 15 months she is still not 20lbs

And yes shops are a nightmare with buggy as the islea are never big enough for you and it to get up and downa nd turn around in also everything is ground level ie clothes shops so my little one put out her arms and grabs everything and I often end up with a trail of mayhem behind me..

I dont know if anyother mum agrees but I have found the sun canopy on fold away strollers useless they cover nothing and a my baby just plays with the parasol and has gone though two cips now. Same with raincovers great for baby to keep dry but i hate the foot area all they have to do is kick and off pops the cover from the bottom. Then mum or dad bend down to clip it back on and they do it again ( gee what a fun game that is specialy in a down pour)

Hope all this helps could gabble for ages
