What size clothes was your baby in just after they were born?
Question by Cailz: What size clothes was your baby in just right after they had been born?
My son was in tiny baby, what was your kids’ size just following they had been born
He was 7lb 2oz
Adam was a week early.
He is enormous now compared to what he made use of to be, but nevertheless in six to 9 clothes even though he is ten months

newborn size. 0-3 months. my niece was in premie clothes though, she was only 6 lbs 8 ozs

my baby was big, 9 lbs 6 oz, so he wore 0-3 months after he came home.

Both my kids came home in newborn size. Within a few weeks they moved to 0-3. then they pretty much got ahead of the sizes. My husband is 6′ 7″ and our children run on the higher end of the spectrum now, but were average babies at 7 lbs 5 oz and then 7 lbs 9 oz at birth

I have two kids and with my first I brought 0-3months i recommend buying 3-6months which is what I did with my second because they grow so fast

My daughter was in premie clothes. She was 6lbs 8oz, and my son was in 0-3 months he was 8lbs 6oz.

Right when both of my kids were born the wore preemie even thought hey weren’t preemies but they were so little (5.11 and 5.13) they fit into that size for about two weeks

ruby was 6 pounds even, and all her 0-3 month clothes were too big. i had to buy her smaller newborn and premie size clothes for the first month — and she was full term, just petite.

A few newborn things but mostly 0 – 3 months. Same as everything else – all children are different.

My daughter was so tiny (premie) when she was born that we dressed her in doll clothes – we couldn’t find anything small enough. She quickly outgrew them though and is now a big 8 year old.

my daughter was in newborn size but they were a bit big, my granddaughter was in tiny baby sizes, she is 19 months and still wears 3-6 months clothes.

now at five months old he weighs 23lbs and about 27inches long and wears anywhere between 6-12 month clothes (depending on the brand name)

Well it varies some sizes are 00 for baby grows my lad had to wear 6 months old baby growers because he was nearly 10lb he was 9lb 1 oz very big and long

my first two babies were in preemie clothes and 3 months ago i gave birth to identical girls four weeks early they were in preemie clothes as well but to see if my other daughters doll clothes fit i though i would give it a try.. and the clothes my daughter cabbage patch kid wore fit my twins. it was so cute now they are in new born clothes finally.
5 year old boy weight at birth 5 lbs 7 oz. 2 weeks early
3 year old daughter weight at birth 5 lbs 4 oz 2 weeks early
twins at birth #1 4 lbs 5 oz and #2 3lbs 13 oz both of them were 17 inch long. and four weeks early

For my first baby I had this perfect little outfit picked out to take him home in and have his pictures made in, but it completely swallowed him! It was 0-3 months. My husband had to go out and buy him a new outfit while we where in the hospital. He got him a preemie size and it fit perfect. He was 6lb and 9oz. He probably wore the preemies for about a month or so.

One son was 6 lb. 14 oz. and wore a medium (6-9 months) because he was so long, the other was 6 lb., and the premie clothes hung on him.
Brand names can make a difference, and although it’s good to have a few smaller sizes, they do grow so fast, so I find that age appropriate clothes work great. I have found that Walmart and Dollar General clothes run a LOT bigger in newborn boy sizes than OshKosh, and those from the Carters stores.

my 11 week old is still in 0-3..he was in newborn the first few weeks and can still wear some newborn things. My son was 7lbs 3oz at birth.

My son was in newborn. He is 6 months now and can still fit in some 0-3 months. But he is on target with his weight. Weird.

He wore premie clothes. He was born almost 5 wks early, weighed 4lb 7oz & was 17 1/2 in long. He will be 8 wks tomorrow & is 9lbs, 20in long & is wearing 0-3 mth clothes now.

My son was 10 pounds, 7 ounces… so he wore a 3 months size when he came ouf of the hospital… mostly 3-6 months for the weeks after that. He’s 10 months now, and wears size 18 months clothes now!!!

My baby was 5lb 9 oz when we left the hospital so she wore preemie size for awhile as long it wasn’t a footie outfit because she was too long for them. She’s 10 months old now, and wears 6-9 or 9 month clothes. She’s around 19 pounds.

My daughter was 6 weeks early weighing in at 6lbs 3oz, after birth she dropped down to 5lbs 3oz, she lost a whole pound. From the time she was born she was wearing premie clothes which were extremely big on her, i’m sure she could have fit into babydoll clothes. She continued to wear premie clothes for the first 2 months of her life. She is now 8 months old and growing beautifully, she wears 6-9 months but can still fit into 3-6 months

My baby was born at 5 lbs 8.75 ounces, and was drowning in her newborn size clothes. She more than likely could’ve worn preemies. She was full term and perfectly healthy, just small
Anyway, she had a doctor’s appt at 3 weeks and weighed 7 lbs, and wearing newborn sized or 0-3 months (depending on the brand) clothing.

My daughter weighed 7Ibs 12 oz when she was born and wore newborn clothes. They were a little big on her but not much.
But she is really petite now as she was 2 years old in March and still only wears either 12-18 month or 18-23 month clothes. My health visitor said she is going to be tiny as she is short too!

my son was a premie he was only 3lb14, so he was in clothes mad for his size, he is 4 months no and just moving into newborn clothes now
