When the baby is engaged is he ready to come?
Question by **Due Nov 1st**: When the child is engaged is he prepared to come?
Im feeling alot of pressure at the second and have a feeling the child is engaged, does thi imply that labour will follow quickly or can i nonetheless go complete term 40 weeks and above witht hte child nonetheless engaged????
Oh and im now 36 weeks pregnant.

My son was head down from 6 months and he was in place and ready for about 2 months. I went to 41 weeks. Everyone is different, but you will know when your ready and the baby is ready. Dont rush it, the longer the baby is in the healthier he/she will be.

mmm sounds like the kid wants OUT. When your “waters ” break, thats the time to be on ur bike and of to the hospital, ps, if he gets out without the waters breaking, call him HOUDINI

You more than likely will not go the full 40 weeks because this is just a rough estimate of how long pregnancies last, and don’t be worried because this is natural for the baby, yes it does mean that your closer to the end of your pregnancy, but sometimes our little ones surprise us…they can come earlier than expected or come later. You never really know, but good luck.

you will definitely know when the baby’s coming it not yet sorry to say but my first was engaged for a month before i was due and he was 2cm dilated for 3 weeks in total and my son was still 11days late…im now preg with 2nd and no yet engaged..can happen either way so baby can cum without u getting engaged but the baby usual does engage first…good luck

just because the baby has engaged doesnt mean the labour will be in the next few days it could still be a couple of weeks away!

not always i have been engaged since week 33 i am now 38 weeks and still no sign of labour

hey.. well my son was engaged when i was 30 weeks… and i didnt deliver until 41+5
