I don’t think the social workers were the ones responsible for his abuse , wasn’t it his mother and her friends?

I saw it and threw up. How dare they let something like that happen. And they said sorry. Sorry means your not going to do it again, so does that mean theyre not going to let another baby get killed. They all make me sick. They vistited him like 50 times and didnt spot the signs. They all deserved to be fired!

there was also a young woman living in the flat who witnessed the torture and seemingly said nothing. When they tore his finger nail off he screamed so badly she had to go outside for a cigarette!
talk about a sick society.

Jake has it in one. Weird how much venom is being directed at those who were NOT responsible for this poor baby’s death.
This is of course the point that the questioner is making!

Erm, the social workers could have prevented his death. Social workers didn’t do their job properly, they didn’t do what they were trained and paid to do…protect the child! I realised they can’t save them all, but in this day and age, there were plenty of signs there and in this case, THEY COULD! They failed this child because they put money and finances before a childs welfare, effectively they killed him and are as responsible as the mother. Children often have extended family or friends or adoptive parents who are willing to take over the parent role and offer a stable loving home, it doesn’t have to cost a fortune. What a damn shame!!!

Yes, unbelievable. I have to add one thing that often gets overlooked in these sorts of cases. The real father, who the feminist inspired system has set its face again, has generally been marginalised, as in this case. The mother, apparently putting herself before her child, and having taken up co-habitation with sub-human monsters who couldn’t care less about her child, thereby exposes it to enormous risk.
Where was the mother in all this? Don’t forget, many Social Workers are imbued with the anti-male feminist attitude, so that the father would not be informed as to what was happening to his child. That would be an admission that he was needed, and that would never do.
‘Jake’ above, states the obvious, but we have Social Workers for a reason, just as we have a Police Force. Although we don’t blame the Police for the commission of crimes, but we can hold them accountable for poor performance. The point is, that Social Services were on the case, and had had plenty of pre-warning.
I too, seriously wonder about the baby sitter, who apparently did nothing.

Horrible …it makes me wonder why the Educators go out their way to support a dysfunctional social system, instead of trying to bring about change. the whole situation is a bit freaky. poor wee mite

This is nothing new. These cases first came to light 60 years ago and every time the ”never again” song is played. The reason that it does happen again is partly to do with the fact that the public soon forget and the pressure is off. This is also partly to do with something that is extremely complicated. I dont really know the ins and out of the SS and it’s often hard to know who is to blame, because nothing is ever what it seems. Everything we hear about Baby P is strictly controlled. The ones at the bottom usually get sacked and shamed and a ‘dodgy dossier” will emerge for the Daily Mail to print no doubt.

I saw it and cried for the best part of an hour….I gave my baby son the biggest hug I could give him after reading the article and cant believe that this happened to such a sweet and innocent little boy. My heart breaks for him…I hope the people that did this to him are given life and never walk free…and all those involved are thoroughly investigated and bought to justice.

There’s a lot of people running for cover we need answers ?

Yes his nasty so called vile excuse of a mother done it to him. Her and her partner Jason Baker (Owen) and his brother beat him to a level where they broke his spine, causing him to be paralysed from the waist down, they also cut the tips of his fingers so that is was easier to pull his nails out. An all this was done and Social Services and a so called Doctor didn’t do anything to stopped this. The dopy (being nice!!) doctor didn’t even realise he was paralysed when she examined him two days before this beautiful little Peter was killed..
I cried my eyes out, reading this article and the more I hear the more I feel sooo sick and after seeing pictures of them all made me sick.. She was a fat mess and the men looked pure evil…
I hope whilst in prison they are punished to the level that they tortured baby Peter. I hope a few doors are left open whilst there in there an they are treated the same. They are vile excuses for humans!!
As for Social Services don’t getting me started on them.. They also have blood on there hands.. They let this innocent little boy down when he needed them the most. They failed him, like so many other little children. They are there to protect and instead killed him and now are showing no remorse. They haven’t even apologised for there involvement and the case worker in now in hiding…
Hope this helps you and sorry for going on….
R.I.P Baby Peter, you will be safe now you are with the angels… Your in everyone thoughts….xxx

it was his mother and step father, apparently the house was covered in excrement and rats and the baby was left in soiled nappies for days, babdly bruised with his nails pulled out and the tips of his fingers cut off and covered in bite mark and infested with lice. his parents were two extremely sick, unhinged people.

I read today it was the Step dad who broke the babys spine but regardless of who did it they all should be brought to justice for what they did,,,,,,,, This is the exact reason why this country should bring back the death sentence as all they will do is put them in a butlins style holiday camp at the expense of the tax payer…. I know there will be human rights idiots out there that will disagree with that but where was the childs rights when the parents were inficting this vile abuse.

It was the mother, step-dad and their lodger. It’s sickening! And to think she has 3 more kids, they have an easy escape. I cannot believe it! What they did is the worse thing anyone could do. When the mum and step-dad were younger thety used salt to put frogs to sleep and break their bones so when they woke up they were in agony. This just shows how horrific they were. It’s the worst case I’ve heard. I’m only 15, but this is not appropriate. She isn’t even getting prosecuted for the earlier abuses that took place. Drugged up c**ts i say.
